We are excited to offer this special private session for this group of ladies. This is a two part class that exceeds the state requirements for you to earn your Idaho Concealed Weapons Permit. Your decision to proceed with your paperwork and actually carry will be completely up to you.

The first part which is the classroom portion of the class will held on Monday October 13th at Boise Cities Krav Maga in Eagle from 9-12PM. In this class we will discuss Idaho law and how it relates to a concealed carry permit. This class is a requirement for any resident of Idaho who wants to acquire the Enhanced Conceal Carry Permit. During this class we will also have a Q&A and discuss methods of carry, methods of safe storage, and many other safety and protection concerns.

There are NO firearms or ammunition allowed in this classroom so please leave in your vehicle or at home. Upon successful completion of both the live fire portion and the classroom portion we will issue your Idaho Enhanced Conceal Carry Permit Certificate that you can then go apply for your permit at the Ada County Sheriffs Office.

This class will last approximately three hours. You will need to bring your current Idaho Drivers License and we recommend a pen and paper.

The second portion of the class will be on Wednesday October 15th @Double Tapp Range in Boise from 9:30AM-1PM. In this class we will be covering all of the fundamentals of safety and shooting regardless of your experience. Our proven process will bring you from a novice to feeling much more competent and safer around your firearm. We will begin the class with a safety brief and then discuss all of the information on how to have a safe, successful and fun training on the range.

For this class you will need to provide your own 380 caliber or 9mm semi automatic handgun, 2 magazines, kydex outside the waistband holster, eye protection, ear protection, and 150 rounds of training ammunition for your caliber firearm. You will also need to wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the elements. We do not allow open to shoes or low cut t shirts for your safety.

Please be certain you have the required gear. We do not want to remove anyone from the range for unsafe equipment. If you have any questions regarding your gear please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.

If you do not have any equipment we can rent you the full equipment list. Please just choose the rental option when you register for the class. You will just need to purchase the correct ammunition for the rental. We will provide you with the correct items to purchase.

In order to attend any Defensive or Practical level firearms classes you must have first successfully completed an Intro class with our training company. ​All courses require you to bring your own ammo. Ammo is NOT included with rental equipment and BC Firearms does not supply it.

Handgun & Holster Rental

Includes a modern semi-automatic handgun (9mm), a quality holster, and two magazines. Perfect for students who haven’t purchased their own firearm yet or want to test a different model. Note: Ammunition is not included and not provided.

Frequently Asked Questions

No experience is required to take our Intro classes. This is the exact purpose of the class regardless of your level of experience. Safety is our number one priority and the only way to control certain aspect of the range is to beside that all students are on the same page from day one. 

No you can rent a weapons kit from us for each class we provide. We encourage you NOT to purchase a gun just for this class. There are so many choices and we would like to help you in this big purchase decision. 

No please follow the guidelines provided when you sign top for the class for each class specific ammunition type and total needed. 

Each class varies slightly but the following items are always included: Your private range fee, targets, and the instructor team. 

If you are providing your own firearm then the following is required: Proper rigid outside the waistband holster made for your actual firearm. Eye and ear protection, baseball cap, long pants, no shorts, out door shoes only, no open toe, standard t shirt, no v neck, ammo, your firearm and at least three magazines for it. 

There are no refunds once you enroll for a class as you will be taking a potential spot for another student. But we can always allow you to take the next class. 

No and in fact we encourage all students to take each class a couple times or until they are completely safe and confidant in their ability to move forward. We also offer a substantial discount to repeat the class. 

We try to always have one Instructor or Range Safety Officer per 6 students.
